Is this possible with the two transducers side by side on the transom or would they interfere with each other . ? I have a Lowrance Mark 5x pro and a Elite 4x DSI .

If using the same frequency YES you will get interference. wink-fish.gif

Maybe....
We've done numerous installs running 2 sounders and 2 transducers without a problem. I'd test the theory before you mount the transducers.

Well the DSIU runs on 455 and 800 mh while the Mark 5 operates on 200 , so maybe there wont be a problem , I guess Ill try and find out for myself .

coachi hi
i trialed side scan on a HDS5 and soon found it was not worth the effort , as the fish wouldn't bite
i connected the transducer too the front mounted water snake pointing forward so that i could forward scan
i soon could see all the fish near the surface , with many european carp jumping and heading away from the boat ,not the result i was looking for
the HDS5 can have five sounder screens at the same time and uses two frequency's 80 kHz and 200 kHz at the same time, side scan works on 50 kHz
the small screen is not good for multi screen use as i have too wear glasses to see the detail
