Yep, going there tomorrow, will fish Sat. and Sunday.

Make sure youve got all your safety gear correct and accessable cos all boats will be checked prior to launch this weekend due to the comp starting Saturday, roads dept and marine safety dept. Info session at angling club rooms at ramp from 7pm Friday night and daily weigh ins at 4pm if interested.
Looks like youve picked a couple of good days.

I think I saw your rig getting serviced when I went to pay comp fees, very nice if it was.
Are you fishing the comp?

If you were at Ian's then yes ...that was her...

yeah Steve, I have to look on the bright side or Id go mad laughing-fish.gif

still .....since then we've pulled one each trip at least and to make life easy it was roughly in the same spot each time and we caught our latest in only 37M yesterday with pretty good conditions off-shore ...we're happy little campers now as we start to get a few [fresh sushi-mi tonight]..

We've been told in a couple of weeks we should score a few more than one a trip when when larger schools pass through [....how's that for optimism eh! laughing-fish.gif] ... but right now some people are still going home empty handed with tuna jumping right in front of you... someone said that the tuna are feeding on whitebait and not taking lures right now...but..who knows for sure?

all we can do now is wait a bit and pray for better weather conditions and more hungry tuna to come together....

Three trips and four tuna, one lost at the boat all 12kg to 16kg at 40m, 50m and 70m marks on and near favorite spots.... but the weather on all three trips have been ordinary at best.... Heard someone pulled tuna at 30m

At least we have a freezer full of couta ready for next cray season...roll on Summer laughing-fish.gif

I wonder if the Tuna have just about moved on yet...maybe a few strays still confused-fish.gif
