Just wanted to give a wrap to fishnet member Chop at Furuno.
I ordered the electronics for my gameboat rebuild a couple of years ago now, but installation was delayed due to various boat builder delays/bafoonery!
Anyway, the boat is now in Gosford where final fitout is taking place prior to launch, and Chop drove up from Sydney to check out the installation, and provide us with some assistance/advice on the installation. He's even offered to install and radar for me on launch day!!!
She's a great boat and the electronics setup should be pretty special.
I can't be happier with the support I have received from Furuno locally and I look forward to using the gear and providing feedback to everybody on here.
Oh and yes, I bought locally and already, it's paying off!

Chop is a wealth of info when Furuno is the topic
Its a darn shame we dont see him here more often.
He has gone way and above his duties many times
Great to read your a happy customer.

That's the way chop chop is whether you know him or not
It puzzles me why on the odd occasion someone here has had a bitch
Like to see someone from lowrance/garmin etc give their customers that kind of service
He's been over twice with my little project sorting out choice of tranny
