Would anyone out there be able to provide me with the GPS coordinates for the camping area on the North Island in the Sir Edward Pellew group of islands in the NT and a bit of information about the facilities on the island.
Thanks |

| Hi Landlocked. I have a 5.5m aluminimum bowrider. I had a fair idea that there wouldnt be much in the way of facilities out there, the NT national parks website seems to indicate that there are some basic shelters and barbeques on the island, I was just looking for a bit of confirmation from someone that has been there. |

| Landlocked, Sorry for the late reply just returned from the long weekend, looking at going in the first couple of weeks in May. We are staying at King Ash Bay for most of our time there. Do you have any local knowledge or tips that might come in handy ? |

g'day hadone, i am leaving in 7 days to spend 6 weeks up there.
to many tips to post mate, been going up there for 7 odd years now and there is still plenty to explore. there is a nice place to camp at centre island, that you can use as a base to explore out there.
keep a look out for me, i have got a grey 4.55 CC poly with a suzuki with a grey cowling cover on it . it will be towed with a white nissan patrol with a cage on the back. i have got a big beard and a ponytail so i am pretty hard to miss. dont be shy and make sure you say g,day and i can give you a good run down on the place. cheers |
