Any one no of a nice cheap place close to the pub and shops in portland to stay at for a few days. Much appreciated Brad

Try:
Claremont Village caravan park (Bar next door, supermarket over the road and 1 block and a bit from all pubs and the boat ramp
or
Centenary Caravan park 4 blocks north of ramp and 3 north of closest pubs.

Plenty of pubs and B&B's etc as well.

Good thing about Portland is all the pubs are within 2 blocks of each other.

Just spent a couple of days down there and stayed at Holliday Village in Percy st.

They have specials on at the moment, see link.
