G'day Water Weazel have you been down Mordy lately ? well if you hav'nt let me tell you and show that its still very much the same. The fish were on today you should have seen how many undersize were kept and over the limit too FARRRRRRRRRRRRRRRK !
I rang 13FISH it took 7 minutes to give all the required info over and info like the Postcode ! and the name of the street that the pier is on
Heres the shots I and Canon got .............
These latest pics are well ,lets say in the pipe line to kingston Council who have replyed to me about this recently so we shall wait and see.Hopefully right now the Fisheries are catching the PRICKS on the pier. _________________

...........................................
and here is a video of one of the many Poor Undersize Australian Salmons that were taken on the Mordialloc Pier, this morning.
I was very upset having to watch this juvenile Australian Salmon suffer to death and had thoughts of saving its life but then thought, I'd better not because the man may have drawn a knife on me because in his eyes, sadly, this is all legal and his dinner tonight or maybe too, it goes into a different section of his freezer. Where later on this fish and all others, get taken down a cobble stone lane way and get sold!
This man of Asian Appearance in the yellow fishing jacket who caught this fish didnt even have the thought to put it out of its misery because have no doubht folks, he did'nt want to waste any time doing so because he wanted every bite on his rod to be another fish in his bucket.
keep up the good work, keep pushing for something to be done.
These days I have garbage bags in my backpack, everytime I go out fishing I fill up the bag. Yeah I probably shouldn't have to do it, but I feel better about it, and there is usually less and less each time. I find that if the place is clean people are less likely to litter, if it's already a dump then people don't seem to mind adding to it.

True That, I am building a house and tradies just throw their crap everywhere....but I have found that IF I keep the tidy ups happening then the lads are less likely to leave their stuff around because you can then tell exactly who the offenders where!
Keep up the good work Matto, eventually your persistance will pay off and the long arm of the law will catch the offenders, cheers
when i was a kid i used to piff rocks at the abalone crab fish shell poachers gathering bags and bags of their bounty on the rocky shores of the mornington peninsula
im in no way promoting or advocating my actions now but gee it was fun and some pretty hairy car v pushbike chasers going on and few little skirmishes and the local police being involved but the fear of getting rocked kept our beat clean
good luck with mordy peir crew youve got your hand full there
Well I recieved replys from City Of Kingston and Parks Victoria.
RE: Mordialloc Pier
Thank you for your correspondence dated 7 May, regarding the condition of the Mordialloc Pier.Parks Victoria is the responsible authority for the collection of litter and maintenance of the Mordialloc Pier. Your request has been sent onto Parks Victoria for investigation.
RE: Mordialloc Pier
Parks Victoria(PV) do not provide bins on Piers or Jetties. The Mordialloc Pier along with other PV managed Piers and Jetties are cleaned every Monday, Wednesday and Fridays by our preferred cleaning contractor.
As some will know there was a bin on the pier and I have seen a man come and clean but that was a year or two ago.Did I think the rubbish issue alone would be resolved once and for all, well a little yes
As for the undersize fish and over the limit of any species kept, a number of the Anglers that frequent the pier do so by mobile communication when the fish are really on.The Mob are only interested in such times as its easier fishing and much more of a chance of getting the limit and or going way over it.
Theres one more authority to ask in regard to the rubbish which may have a better outcome for the pier then theres what we Anglers can do, which should'nt become any form of anti social behaviour hey
As for the total disregard of the fishing regulations its to keep ringing 13FISH .
Shall keep on plugging away on this one and thanks again all _________________
why don't you give up matto, we can all fabricate stories against others. You always show pics of rubbish but never a person in the act of littering. lol For all we know your rockin up with a bag of crap and spreading it on the pier and taking pics. lol Undersized salmon their not snapper, and billions around, i would be more concerned with other species. lol
Im not thanking you, are you a member of Landcare? u should be. Matto who cried wolf, sooner or later the fisheries will just laugh at you with all your reports and not take you seriously, i don't
