I got bored. Again. I was waiting for some parts to arrive. The pictures kinda tell the rest.
The purple one was done in the Melbourne Storm colours. I couldn't give it away if I tried following their salary cap breach. Cheats. Blank is a Samurai of some sort. Guides are Alps XS with gold inserts. Matagi winding check and custom EVA grip.
The orange one is for a dirty one-eyed Wests Tigers supporter. Blank is an old scrap of fibreglass that has been rolling around the scrap bin for the last 100 years or so. Painted it with Tamiya paint from a spray can. For guides I wanted to go with a set of SiC lowriders ... but decided to save them for something better. Like a Souths themed Wii-mote. So this one received Fuji aluminium oxides. Matagi winding check and custom EVA grip.
Fortunately my new toys have arrived and the weather is also improving. Time to get busy again _________________ Friends don't let other friends use factory wrapped rods.
