Chinese I think and cheap. Simple - you get what you pay for. For me its worth waiting a while longer to get a bit of extra coin and go for an EasyTow, Dunbier or Mackay.

Easytow all the way. Best trailer I've had. Sit nice and low, minimal rollers (minimal things to become misaligned or rusted or broken) and just tow good (i.e. you don't notice you're towing it). Just a bit of an issue with some of the shackles etc. rusting on the brake pulleys but I think they've upgraded to stainless for these fittings after copping a spray from someone on fishnet I think from memory. Anyway, good on them for listening to customer feedback. wink-fish.gif

none of the easytows we've had through work recently have ANY stainless fittings...
All Gal. They don't even come with shackles on the safety chains.

Any boat that has come back after a year or more, the trailer has already started to rust.

Had 2 brand new trailers with faulty lights in the last 6 months too...

To be honest I don't see what all the hype is about!

Whats an easytow trailer worth these days?

I agree 100%, nothing flash here and all the new ones are rusting badly but they do have a good name.

Mackay trailers are the best I have seen of the mass produced trailers and it is what is under our old boat.

Tows like it isn't even there, boat is very low and it is very easy to launch and retrieve.

Quality is really good certainly a big step up fron Dunbiers.

If I had to buy another trailer tomorrow it would be a Mackay.

Well I'm not in the business but that's what I heard (re upgrade of fittings). Main issue was the brake cable shackles and clamps, which I have changed over via a relatively inexpensive trip to bunnings. Rest is fine and certainly no rust and I have nearly 500 hours on my boat plus somewhere between 30000 and 40000ks towing.(my missus has had her car for longer than my boat and has done less kms)!! laughing-fish.gif

Perhaps rust is due to low (or non) maintenance?

Easy tow was the best trailer I have had for towing and drive on /off
Possibly as factory for barcrusher and setup spot on for there boats
Current dunbier alloy is 200mm too short in draw bar and 150 mm short on back too. Really hard to fit tie downs and no actuall spots for tie downs. This trailer is the one dunbier supply to tourno as correct length. Next size up in alloy was for 7.5 mtr boat
Never a dunbier again
Mackay under previous boats were pretty good too

Condor trailers made at Yaringa and 1 on display near ramp. Look like not a bad trailer for $$

do NOT touch sea trail. got one for my 19ft allison, winchpost snapped off at the welds on first trip, followed by 3 sets off double-double rollers breaking at the welds too, all within 3 days. Do NOT go near them.
