Fishnet. I'm not knocking the Classifieds section, it is a very well worth while section of the web site, and a good free way for members to advertise their unwanted goods cool-fish.gif wink-fish.gif .
What I will critisize is it's taken about 2 years for you to type 1 line advising members they no longer should supply a email address confused-fish.gif unhappy-fish.gif unhappy-fish.gif .
It was roughtly 2 years ago that we had the debate about putting a 4 sale section within the forums, and roughtly 2 years ago you rejected my suggestion angry-fish.gif angry-fish.gif angry-fish.gif and said you were working on a solution to the problem unhappy-fish.gif . 2 years later you come up with no emails in adds as a solution happy-fish.gif wink-fish.gif .
Wow how long would it have taken to build rome at this pace.

Just thought I would show my dissapointment.

Frank

Hi Frank - Not quite correct mate as the no email address has been around for some time (Maybe overlooked). This was brought about my nigerian scammers angry-fish.gif

You know very well the reasons for not having a for sale forum and i don't believe that position will change in the near future, cheer up Frank, it's not all doom and gloom happy-fish.gif

By the way i will move this topic to the feedback forum shortly, thanks for the feedback.

Mod 1. I fugured seems as how the subject matter which I am refering to was on " Fish oz scene " I though it also appropiate that a reply comment would also be suitable for that scene.
However I feel there is no difference what scene it appears in, the subject could do well with some comment about it.
The subject matter is dated 13th March 2009 which led to to believe it was a recent posting, but I see that date is just an UPDATE date and not the original date of posting. But still the headline date.
Does it really matter that I know the reason for this action ? does that mean I can no longer discuss the topic with my fellow members ?

Frank

What Exactly is wrong with the classifieds section stroked? confused-fish.gif

It has been a little slow in updating in the past which can be contributed to the staff member in charge of that area, but lately it has been working ok, funny thing is it is only the forum members who seem to complain, most users of the classifieds section are not active forum members.

Pictures and a better layout. Surely if i can put a picture up in a post it cant be that hard to have something similar for classified. Pictures sell.

That's because forum people go to other sites to sell their gear.
It's only the people that join Fishnet for the purpose of using the Free classifieds ( easier then Trading post ) that use it.
Very occasionly you see a forum member use it, but very rearly.
