Custom sabres are exactly that... Custom... Wilson factory rods are as close as you will get and being built in Australia they are far superior to a t-curve etc...

You sure about that shane laughing-fish.gif
Sabre offer a production rod built here in oz a custom rod is one that is built to your specs.

Dont confuse Wilson with being an Australian brand only thing ozzy about them is their name, they are a Hong Kong based Co with shopfront here.

Their rods are prob built in same factories as the shimano's

Wilson do a range of Australian built fishing rods, JG.

Theyre titled "Aussie Built Rods"

Bit of a give away in the name, dont you think.

Doug,

there are no aussie built game rods ..

The T Curve are also much better suited to marlin(if thats what you are chasing) As they are all length matched to line class..

Eg, Wilson live fibre 15kg rod is say 5ft 6" and the T Curve is closer to %ft 10". That make a massive difference if you can angle well.
Actually, all of the live Fibre Rods are 5ft 6. where as the TCurves range from say 6kg @ 6ft 7" to a 37 stand up @ 5ft 5 ish.

So, you can see that much more thought and planning goes into a T Curve than most take for granted. All above 6kg have allum seats(not required under that) and all are tripple under and over bound with genuine aftco rollers... Quite good value really.
Definately be my choice for off the self rods.

I know mate..... unless you have a custom game rod built.

Just clarifying an incorrect statement about some of the Wilson range.
