Well I am back in business. Compressor is all Fixed and we have had a new super duper Air dryer and filters fitted. Breather-able air to all outlets in factory.
Had some time tonight to guide coat and sand. Its amazing how quick sanding is with and orbital vs full hand sanding.

popcorn gun in the middle , just in front of the styrene monomer
I've been thinking about buying one of these cup guns for my rebuild. Does anyone ever use them as a wet out gun for resin on large layups? I would have thought this would be a really quick way to wetout parts like hardtops and large panels?
Buggy,
This rebuild is top notch. Keep up the great work.

no spargs its a gel coat gun only and would be a useless waste of time trying to run resin through it. The cups only hold 900ml max . If you are glassing correctly , trying to use this gun would be many times slower.

Hi spargs
I have to agree with carpy these pop corn guns (G100-6) are no good for wetting out due to fluid capacity But they do sell nozzles to spray resins. I think they are a 3.1mm to 4.7mm.
You can also get a G660-4.0 Production Gelcoat Gravity Spray Gun. I have used these guns in the past but you have to clean them quickly and thoroughly.
They do make a external mix gun (G200-6)
You can also get G150-6 and G250-6 which hook up to a bucket. These would be ok for wetting out. I would buy the external mix model (G250-6). You would waste little to no resin.
