I couldn't see any date mentioned for their expected release.
Anyone know the answer?
I was just about to but a HDS 5 or 7, but I am thinking of holding off now. |

These new units should be available from the NEW year - check with your local Lowrance dealer. I also suggest looking at the HDS8 model if you can stretch your budget - it has the best screen resolution , hot keys & provides great detail when using a split screen

Hope they get their software upgrades sorted....I had to intall V4 three times. The third time I noticed the file had changed and I'm not alone thinking they fixed it by stealth. "Oh" some decent over the phone support would not go astray either! Send them an e/mail and its a couple of days before you get a usless answer....thats if they answer it at all????

No reply from an e/mail I sent almost 10 days ago...glad to see their level of service is consistant anyway....
"Oh" also waiting for an answer about why V4 suddenly had a letter dropped (B) and then the next version installed OK...NO answer their either???
