| Gents was wondering if anybody can give me any positive or negative feedback on the model mentioned. I was told recently by a cruiser owner that he is achieving 1300km city driving out of the 140l tank. These figures sound pretty amazing not sure if there honest though. Any input on the figures or the model would be greatly appreciated. Cheers |

Sensational vehicle, good to tow, uses bugger all diesel even when towing. Have had some probs though with tailshafts oil usage and leaks, you can check the recalls on the Toyota website. Wish I had one. |

We have 3 200's for work vehicles and average 80000km year.
Our 2010 vehicles are better then the 2009 cars. Tow ok but love the fuel. Replaced the power steering pump on all of the 09's but the 10's are good. Use oil up to 30000km then all good. Heaps of room in front and rear.
Get about 800km out of 120lts ( fuel light on ) in the 09 and about 900km in the 10. This is low speed, hwy and town combined. Mate has one as a personal vehicle and he averages about 15lt/100km.
Towed a 2T boat 500km and used over 3/4 tank sitting on 120km/hr in the 09 model. |

| That seems an awful lot 15/100ks, my v8 uses exactly that in c/control at 108ks per hr. That is not towing, is your mate towing? |

| No way not around town, on the highway at 95-100 maybe, that is 10.7 lt per 100k in a vehicle that weighs close to 3 tonne, has the areodynamics of a brick, tell him he is dreaming. A good friend with a navara gets these figures and it weighs close to a tonne less. I spoke to a fellow up the cape a couple of weeks ago, and he told me the best he had got was about 12-13 lp hundred and the worst dragging his 3 tonne van was about 35 lt hundred. |

Have a look at the 200 series section on LCOOL .... plenty of guys there that own a 200 not just one bloke.
There`s a few threads on fuel consumption figures ... some pretty impressive figures for 3 ton bricks.
Probably all full of s%&t |

| That is the reason I started this thread because the figures sound very appealing. I have spoken to a few owners now and they all say its true, but you do pay a lot more for the initial cost of the twin turbo diesel. |
