|
|
Hi guys, im about to purchase a set of Lenco trim tabs. Been looking at the size guides and am not sure weather to go for the 12x9 inch or the 12x12 for my boat. Its an original 610 crusher not the re badged 560.
If someone can confirm for me it would be much appreciated.
thanks,

Quadsy, I've got a similar size boat and I've fitted the Lenco 12 x 9, I'm pretty sure they will be more than adequate.
I'm really happy with the result but I suppose it depends on what size motor you have fitted and the transom weight.
My 175 Suz tended to bounce the hull out at sea but the tabs have completely stopped that.
I don't know what the difference is in price and I'm sure others will recommend the bigger size, but I don't think you will be disappointed with the 12 x 9. |

AHHHH Bloody Iphone
thats what happens when u post from a phone
I broke 2 lenco alloy , tore the fibre joint apart. Got gen tabs from BC and never had issue again.
What ever u get make sure a full rolled pin joint and not stainless or u will have paint issues.
12x9 is right and I have a pair in my shed with out rams for $100 if u want standard ones.
BC made their own due to customers breaking them.
I did tend to drive it like a mad man at 30+kn in 1mtr wport slop. _________________

Thanks guys, much appreciated. i ended up buying them last night online as i have a shipment leaving the states on thursday and had to buy ASAP to make that consignment. i went for the 12x12 as there were no 12x9 left with the LED switch. Do you think this will cause me any issues?
I was on a tight budget and couldnt afford the bar crusher ones, ive never used tabs before so will start off with these and if/when they snap i will take a look at BC ones and hopefully by then im in a better position to get them instead.
Ps. Ribbit, you do sound like a mad man mate _________________ "We're gonna need a bigger boat" |
