indeed it is time for someone to fess up one way or the other, If b.c.(or via the author) were to come on and tell us the problem and how they in tend to fix it , this would show just how committed to customer service they are, and that would give them an extra 10points next time I'm looking to buy a new boat _________________ sold it,, now what will I get
i doubt we will ever hear anything more than assumed dribble in this regard , cast your mind back to the evolution incident, and all was forgotten after 2 months and they dont get any negative feedback here anymoremartin

Building trailer boats a pr!ck of a business IMO, unless you have something with a clear advantage over the opposition it is hardly a licence to print money.
I will not argue with you, your quite correct, but let me state this, what's a new BC worth or Haines, Fisher, Tabs, Cruiscraft ect ect ect. The same amount as say a Subaru, BMW, upper end Ford/Holden, now what do we expect if we buy one of these vehicles, certainly not the shite that they give us on these boats! Lets get it right theres not much bang for our buck
JG again your right, I think this matter needs to be finalised.
The "bang for the buck" is not helped by the lack of economies of scale with dozens of boatbuilders producing dozens of different boats. The tooling costs are high, and push the prices up for small production volumes. And automation is not nearly as applicable to boat-building, so labour costs are high. The only way prices would fall is a departure from the near cottage-industry model of numerous makers, most doing fairly similar things. The Chinese may have something to say about this in the future.
He must have it sorted, because he is on another thread wanting to know how to go to the shelf off malacoota. Jay Gee out of all your posts you got one right.

What's goin' on JayGee ? you give yourself an uppercut or somethin' ? That's more sense than you made in the last 2000 posts !
It is all speculation, and unless he's been kidnapped and held against his will, he bloody well should have reported in. As for agreeing to not talk about it, that would be silly, if you are sold unmerchantable goods, the only obligations rest with the seller. But we don't know if there is anything wrong with the build at all. Barcrusher would be doing themselves a favour to explain the situation, unless it is all news to them and the story is fiction.
x 2. This so-called problem has BS written all over it, and that's why there is no response from the original poster.
Pulling the hull apart to see what is wrong is not even worthy of comment.
New boat, new owner and no idea!
No worries, thrillseeker. Speculate all you like. That's your prerogative.
Here are some facts of the matter- I was there at Mallacoota and witnessed first hand the way juz' boat road leaned heavily under way into a head wind with the weight (3 people on board) distributed evenly. We followed behind in another Barcrusher with 2 onboard without lean of any sort. BTW, all cuddy cabs whether 'glass or plate aluminium will lean into a cross wind to some extent (a fact that was acknowledged to me by Phil Noblet from Barcrusher when we spoke via email). Juz called the owner of the boat I was in last week and informed him that the Barcrusher guys had since driven his boat and agreed to do something about it, as in their opinion, the lean was indeed excessive.
I have no idea why juz has not posted what is going on. I received the info on the morning of the 3rd of Feb. It is reasonable to assume that the process of diagnosing the problem is ongoing.
If you reckon that's BS, fine.
FYI, some more facts-A couple of weeks ago I actually contacted Barcrusher via email to inform them of the talk going on in the forum. I suggested to them that they take an interest in what was being said as it would be good PR and it might quieten down the doubters out there. Phil from Barcrusher replied and said that they had spoken to juz but he had not had the chance to bring the boat in to them at that stage since finishing holidays. So, now they have the boat back and will rectify the problem which may, or may not take a fair while. After which, it would be reasonable to assume, juz will post the outcome on here somewhere, sometime or not. Up to him really.
End of factual story. _________________ Cheers,

Thanks for your post FranklinSnapper, although it still hasn't thrown any light on the solution, and that's what I'm interested in.
Any problem with the hull will be visible from the outside and as you say, pure speculation, but with jig manufacture, I'll bet the problem is not there.
I know Peter Cleland so either way I'll find out what happened.
