The receiver does not connect straight to the unit. It should plug in via the 25' "Y" adaptor which you should have if you previously had an LGC2000. I think I may have a spare. Can have a look in the shed if needed.

Mate? I havent got anything other than the unit, power cable, lgc2000 antenna and extension cable... This y piece you talk of... Just connect plug n play?

I'll have a look over the weekend - I really hope I've still got it. If you where running a previous lgc2000 you should have it. Have a look at the manual on the lowrance website. The adaptor is right at the top of page 28 with the 60 ohm terminator.

Ive never used it befor dude just got it given to me so im trying to set it up

I'm afraid the news is not good Andy. I found my bag of lowrance stuff and the y-adaptor is not there. Can I suggest you call Lance at Lowrance (Sydney) first thing Monday.

All good bud I actually found one on ebay from the states and purchased it this morning so hopefully will arive in the next week but thanx a million for your help pal!!

This unit will also work with any NMEA 0183 compatibale GPS receiver from any manufacturer.
