We use almost anything squid couta mullet they eat it all. We use 50lb braid on the electrics with rigs made from 300lb or 400lb leader with circle hooks. Weight from 1kg " used most times " plus depending on depth and current. I have marks from 300m to 800m and when looking for new ground set some berley out and have a shark fish while drifting.

No light no bite so we use a few different ones chemical light sticks dont last

For lights try these

There are a few different people in china making these we imported ours direct and have not had any problems but we didnt buy from the cheapest supplier.
We did use some purchased in a takle shop and they wouldnt turn off so its pot luck wink-fish.gif

I use these as well but there is a nack to making them seal not leak or crack but some of the other guys dont like them.
