Can you post the link here?

Might help to eliminate any further misinformation.

That's now 2 of the 650's that have turned turtle. Not going to go well for the brand.

someone mentioned waiting 2 hours

i was told by my local marine chandlery that the cheaper epirb available can take up 2 hours to get a signal through

then you wait while they call all the contact numbers then call the coastguard then say to the local authorities and rescue go look for them

so i guess 2 hours is pretty good

was anyone on the water that day, did they hear coastguard calling for the boat over 27mhz and vhf ?

Brother and mate are about to pick up their new evo tomorrow and on the news on thurs his missus sees a boat upsidedown and exclaimed Ev-o-lu-tion??!! (reading upside-down), isn't that the boat you guys are buying???

laughing-fish.gif laughing-fish.gif laughing-fish.gif laughing-fish.gif Ahhh, he had to quickly reassure her. happy-fish.gif happy-fish.gif happy-fish.gif

I still can't see how a boat can turn over, freak wave or no freak wave if being driven normally. But, then again, shows you should respect the ocean.

The time depends on satellite location and orbit to when the signal is detected, two hours is worse case scenario between orbits.
