Jeeeez......if a dog’s breath doesn’t smell bad already! I’d hate to get too close after he’s chewed on a stinky carp. The classic class 3 underbite gives him a cool look though. laughing-fish.gif

Quanger, can you pop up to Canberra and clean up Lake Burley Griffin for us – bring Rastus. laughing-fish.gif laughing-fish.gif I'll supply the doggy breath mints!

I'll have to check his calender mate, he's a bit busy ATM what with Easter coming up & all, got plenty more carp to kill then. As for his breath, well that was a problem on the weekend, the bigger carp he only crunched but some of the smaller ones he actually ate their heads, doesn't seem to have had any ill effects on him yet. laughing-fish.gif One thing we did notice, he hates getting slapped in the face by their tails, gets quite pissed off with them & starts growling & barking at them, funny stuff but i spose you had to be there. cool-fish.gif

Great post Nev!

Talk about win/win.

Massive brownie points for going away with the missus and dog and not pissing off with the boat all weekend, plus you had a ball fishing happy-fish.gif

Some more pics just for you Kel, here's the boy checking out some of his handy work:

Looking for more, they gotta be in here somewhere:

& relaxing in his camp chair after a hard day's carp killing:

with a magnificent Murray sunset to finish off the day.

i liked this fishing story ,just the way it happens
some days the catching is so good
did inquire the size of hooks ,brand
i used suicide hooks twos or fours, but the chrome stops them biteing if the hook is not covered
some one on here recommened black magic,i through he was having a go at koorilad ,as he claimed their nothing too it laughing-fish.gif
i watched the kooories catching fish at the weir at bourke confused-fish.gif ,out caught me
nothing to it cool-fish.gif ,well i would like to know how too wink-fish.gif

Mucka, we were using size 6 suicide hooks, a good size to fit a single corn kernal on, the smallest ball sinker I had (which was bloody tiny), could have got away with no weight at all really, all fish were caught on the same rod, I had a heavier set up as well but couldn't feel 'em taking the bait & the missus had 8 before I took the rod off her laughing-fish.gif we just shared the 1 rod for the rest of the weekend, was a waste of time trying with the heavier setup. cool-fish.gif

Spot on mate, it's all about us verses the carp, don't reckon there's much chance of sponsorship for a FFFC member & his dog though laughing-fish.gif laughing-fish.gif
