Geez, jayyygee must be sick quite a lot...
On the un funny side though. I'm 34 was 155kg blood pressure fine, cholesterol up, everything else good. wont reach 50. Not as bad as some of you fellas, but I have a 3 1/2 yr old son that wont have a father in 10 or so yrs. So I joined a gym, motivate myself to go 4-5 times a week currently down to 143kg. I have a goal and it's called Tough Mudder (not this year, have a wedding to cater that day) but next year.
For those that dont know what it is Tough Mudder is 20km of british SAS obstacle training course. Thats my goal. To stop being a lazy fat bastard and not die. Coz lets face it, fat people like me are going to rule hospital beds in the next 10 yrs. I sure as hell dont want to be one of them.
Cheers for reading if you have.
If Im still capable of training next year I hope to see you at Tough Mudder then. _________________ I am an idiot and a liar.
Boris have you thought of spending hay fever season locked up in a refrigerator they tell me it's a good remedy, no pesty pollen in those
Speaking of which think there is nothing worse than all the proffessors suggesting all these you beat cures cause their uncles unties father in law who used to be a butcher once heard it worked on cows.
Hell i dont even listen well i do but rarely take their suggestions just because they're doctors dosen't mean they know best.
Proved them wrong to many times after all nobody know their own body than the person who owns their own body.
Surgeons ignore them alltogether all they want to do is cut you open & start removing bits

Rumpus I looked at en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Central_serous_retinopathy I hope all goes well
Katoh you said ‘LOL this thread sounds like the scene from JAWS where they are comparing scars in the boat!’ It does sound like a scene from JAWS. Only difference is you would think that with all the experience between members that we would catch it without anyone being chomped
BorisK I never knew it could get so bad, chronic debilitating hayfever.
JayyyyGee thanks for posting. _________________ Life is like a fish milkshake

Thats not a professional term or diagnosis, dont get me wrong. Thats just my way of describing it.
Wish everyone here an easier painless life! _________________ I am an idiot and a liar.
What this thread has done for me is to confirm how lucky I am with nothing to report
Did have a scare around twelve moths ago but , a second and third opinion put pay to that. Trust you get the significance of that statement. The final word was that I am never likely to suffer the problem in question and in fact , should I have accepted the initial opinion , together with associated biopsy , the risk would have substantially increased _________________ An open mind beats an open tackle box
Jay there's probably nothing I could tell you about Chrones you don't already know, but i'll tell you this little story anyway.
A mate of mine had it all his adult life, nearly killed him several times due to peritonitis. His son also suffered from it. In desperation he went to a naturopath who suggested he stop eating bread, which worked for him and his son.

Since I started this post I'm going to make a couple of guidelines....If someone post a suggestion as bloke&tackle has, it should be respected, diet whether we like it or not plays a massive part in disease's. _________________ Life is like a fish milkshake
Can a post like this help YES. How do I know? It already has.
Going back in time say around July 2011. My wife woke up in the middle of the night screaming in pain. Lower Abominable. Ovarian Cancer
After 2 lots of surgery, fingers crossed she has no signs of cancer.
My wife joined a forum for women who have had hysterectomies. Hister sisters. A lot of knowledge between these women. A common bond is made. Simular experiences have been talked about. Even the questions that have no answers are talked about; my wife has found that she is not alone. She has gathered strength from others in the same or similar situation.
Sooo back to this post, why don’t us blokes talk about the unspeakable?
20 replies from men who have put their balls on the line. I know no one likes a whinging plick? But where else can we talk about this stuff? The pub, Fishing club, footy, even talking to your best mate, if he’s as fit as a bloody bull he’s only goanna look at you like…….’What a pussy’
If my son who already suffers from hay fever gets a whole lot worse, I might drop BorisK a PM, if my neighbour gets type 2 diabetes I might PM Block&tackle.
Is anyone else goanna post?
So no one here suffers migraines?
What do you do if you get one?
These threads are meant to help us, so we can fish more often _________________ Life is like a fish milkshake
19th Jan 2012 doc rings me up and says come in she would like to see me,thinking it is due to my cholesterol,I had blood test a few days prior, sit down she says, your blood results are back, chronic lymphocytic leukemia she tells me.
I had heard of leukemia though I never knew what it really was all about,I do know though.
If anyone else here has the same would like to hear from you, just to compare what you may be doing to help it from increasing in it,s stages.
Watch and wait at present, they watch my blood counts,I wait. _________________
