Hey Coookie,

You'll have to sit the PWC test (doesn't matter that you have ya boat licence).

"Users of PWCs must obtain a PWC endorsement in addition to their general or restricted marine licence. You will need to sit an additional knowledge test and correctly answer a minimum of 13 out of 15 questions to pass. An operator with a PWC licence endorsement can operate all types of powered recreational vessels."

So I guess you need to read the book and book in.

Apparently there's a whole pile of stuff you need to learn if you are going to ride a Jetski.
You need to know how to piss off all the boaties by circling around them as fast & noisily as possible.
You need to identify all the 6 knot areas that you can go through at 40 knots.
You need to learn how to leave your jetski washed up on the beach right next to the ramp so that you cause the maximum inconvenience to all the boaties who are trying to launch & retrieve their boats.
You need to learn how to calculate the wind direction to make your tell-tale drown the mobile phones & electronics of the boats that you scream past.
You need to identify the boats that have people trying to cook lunch so that you can cause the maximum amount of wash required to make their pans slide off the barby onto the floor of their cockpit.
You need to learn the arrogant facial expression required when you sit on the ramp revving your engine for 10 minutes while all the boaties wait to get to use the ramp.
Should I go on ????
