I did bit of search on the first but couldnt really find anything.
Im looking at taking the family to somewhere different this year for a bit a landbased fishing at Mallacoota which is a tad closer to our usual fishing haunt in wonboyn.
I'd like to know if the surf fishing in Mallacoota produce reasonable catches of salmon where about are some likely spots to try. In between surf we'd also like to have a crack at some bream in the lake. The lake it a bit larger than what I am used to so I wouldnt know where to start becuase we are only going to be there for a few days so we wont have alot to time to explore spots.
Also I looked up google maps and saw some nice looking ledges for bait & flicking lures off the rocks along the mekta road. Anyone fished these rocks that can give me some advice and tips. I must mention that I do wear a inflatable vest.
Some pointers would be really appreached. |
