A 104kg Striped Marlin the weekend before also.
I read about it in the Herald Sun before Fishnet?????
What's going on with this place it used to have the latest information.
Do I need to get onto twitter or Facebook nowadays to get the latest information?

The blue report came through on facebook before the guys were back at the ramp!
Facebook doesn't give you the depth of discussion of fishnet but certainly with the right friends the reports come through thick and fast.
Cheers.
Rodney.

Firstly, welcome. happy-fish.gif

90km on water is a long way for a trailerboat.

I would have thought it would take several days to get out have a fish then come back, how fast can you paddel?

i tried that getting around in a canoe 25 years ago i had a coleman plastic canoe with an electric shakespeare motor on it chasing bream and perch and trout i laugh at them now its cheaper to buy a 12 foot tinny than a new hobie kayak and ya get to keep ya nuts dry in a tinnie you do see a lot of kayaks out there now havent seen one that enjoys the wake from my boat although they do wave and yell out when i go0 past at 40 knots

SeaCarp, funny you say that, I was one of the boats that got the 125 and my mates got the 135 right beside us 5 minutes after, was talking to an old salt dog ex-tuna fisherman at the ramp, he was giving us a hand, and he was telling us about the lack of interest in chasing the broadies out there but asured me that they are a definate option and a good chance if the right conditions are available for the fish and the fishos.
Has got the mind ticking over thats for sure, but is hard to fnd a crew who would want to camp out wide overnight, cant say I blame them, its a bit daunting a thought myself..

Cheers
