@ wildfish1 - it just gets better, a grand cheaper again for what I want. Too good.

Have you thought of a centre console??...selling mine (sadly) for $12,000 neg.Only had about 3 hours use since new. It's a 2007 Sea Jay 4.55 with 40hp Tohatsu,3mm bottom,2mm sides.Hasn't been used much due to various reasons not the least being health problems.Cost me around $18 thousand with everything fitted (new). Not meaning to spam / hijack the thread.

Thanks anyway mate, not ready to buy just yet and dont really want a centre console that size. I want the floor space that the console takes up too much of for my intended use.
Good luck with the sale anyway...

Hey mate, have a look at a 450 Brooker Safari from Cunningham's Marine in Brisbane. I bought a 410 Safari from them in December 2009 for a great price and picked the boat up direct from the Brooker factory in Sydney. My boat is solid 3mm bottom 2mm sides so I assume the 450 size would be at least as solid if not more so. If you go to Cunninghams website they list their packages with prices which will give you a good starting point. Cheers.

Just had a look and they list the 450 at around $13,500 with a 40hp. I think the specs that say 2mm bottom and sides are out of date.

The Stessco 450sf is a grand cheaper with a 40 3mm all round and has a heap more inclusions.

I'd probably go as low as $10,000ish. wink-fish.gif

Pics taken in the shed.Damn dogs got in and created a mess with boxes. angry-fish.gif Boat needs a good wash, it didn't even come out of the shed last 'summer', haven't even changed rego stickers, rego runs out 23/12/2012.Got a new battery late last year.

Sorry about the marks on it, as I said it needs a good clean + flash makes marks look much worse than they are.As new pretty much, was/is supposed to be the boat to last me out as I don't have a lot of $ to buy another new one. Will get a smaller one perhaps to get around in estuaries & rivers and spend some money on needed things.
