He is unlikely to be a good PM IMO but Abbot is currently doing an exceptional job as the opposition leader which is a surprise so maybe as PM he will surprise us again.

I just hope the party views and not his personal views are the direction the country heads after the next election.

Is it Gillards personal view... or the Labor Party view... to hold on desperately to Craig Thomson and his parliamentary vote?

Craig says it wasnt him.

It was the one armed man.

It is clear to me that Abbott would be PM now if he had handled negotiations with the independents in a statesmanlike manner. Tony Windsor, who stands head and shoulders above the Canberra crowd, regards him with contempt.

Is it?!

That view strikes me as quite strange.

Gillard clearly oversold lies to the independents.... who have since complained that she has broken the deals she made to secure their support. I'd hardly call that statesman-like.

And Tony Windsor knows he is on borrowed time in his electorate because of the way he betrayed the very people who voted for him, by siding with Gillard... who has failed everybody!

So sorry, can't agree about Mr Windsor either!

I think Windsor gave up on Abbott when he told him he'd "sell his aarse to become PM". laughing-fish.gif

Windbag is an unrepresentative piece of crap that will go down in our history as a traitor to his constituents and the nation as a whole.

And so.... another Swan-Gillard fairytale has been written in the form of a Budget.

Anyone actually listening to this crap?!
Still swallowing the spoonfed lies theyre feeding you, and supporting them?!!!

They now claim to be hitting a $1.5B surplus.
Funny how last year they claimed to hit a $23B deficit, but last night announced it was really $44B!!! Just slightly out!

So a Surplus?! No chance.
Their last 4 budgets = 4 Deficits totalling $137Billion, and the spending continues.

Businesses just got dumped on, so that $1+BILLION ADDITIONAL welfare handouts can flood the community to buy back credibility votes.

Reality is.... at the rate theyre going, they wont BE there when the measures they announced, are set for delivery.

This Budget.... is an absolute joke.
