A few months ago my wife and I were walking the dogs (Newcastle) about to cross the road at an intersection with lights, when a Commodore flew past and nearly cleaned us both up. There was a young bloke driving, we got a very good look at his face and he looked scared and was looking in the mirror. Right behind him was a cop car with no siren or lights, if they did we would have had some warning not to step onto the road.

The really strange thing is that my wife burst into tears. When I asked what was wrong she said..."that was some Mothers son, he looked terrified"

I said yeah the little &^%$ probably just stole that car, how would you feel if it was your car, or if he ran us over, which he nearly did.

Talk about 2 different ways to look at the same thing. unhappy-fish.gif

Let the doo gooders decide on how to educate, discipline and bring kids up and this will become more common over time. Kids need discipline, rules and consequences when they do the wrong thing. They dont have to be belted to the shizen, but when Little Johnny does the wrong thing he needs to be pulled into line. Unfortunately there are too many who have the "oh the poor little thing" attitude, very prevalent in schools nowadays, and it leads to a range of social problems.

five years jail ,give them time to think about what their doing is wrong, before some one gets killed,
get in five police chasses 5 times five=25 years jail ,stops them from breeding and doing other crimes

We need a zero tolerance attitude with crime! It has worked very well in America laughing-fish.gif laughing-fish.gif laughing-fish.gif laughing-fish.gif

Muckawa, a bloke steals a car worth $1000, you give him 5 years, that's in excess of $500,000 out of the tax payers pockets just in prison costs, not to mention the cost of the process.

You would sink the country within 10 years laughing-fish.gif

Forget the kids, start with your generation. Go to the cause of the problem not the outcome wink-fish.gif

Deport them. Very few of them are Aussies.
If they say they were born here, deport their whole family.
Put 'em on a leaky boat to an island on the other side of the world.
Worked for the Poms 200 years ago.

Send all the drug addicts with them.

you ask why?
pretty simple it is to hard to steal the cars at 3pm and still be in bed at 8:30pm people notice that too much
way better to do it late at night when most people are in bed

ask a stupid question get a stupid answer
