There's some guys on "landbased addicts" raving about them. Sounds like they ate very happy with it.
Cheers Frank

Hi mate I have been using a 305 for the past couple of years. I love the rod. I use it mainly for soft plastics and metal slugs.

Mine is under used really. I use it mainly for salmon, tailor, whiting, yellow fin bream.

Best catch thus far was a shark up at Airlie Beach of about 30kg (1.8m).

I have it matched to a shimano Ci4 Stradic 4000 with 20lb suffix and it is one awesome combo.

I got the 305 too. One of my favourite rods. Ive mathced it up with a daiwa advantage 3500.
However spinning for salmon i prefer to use my 8 foot egi rod.
