I had a Croation client taking me to task over my hatred of boat people. He told me about the tens of thousands of refugees that crossed his border years ago due to a war in their own country. He also told me that they all had to go back when the war ended. The parasites that pay a small fortune to come here ILLEGALLY on boats NEVER FRIGGIN' LEAVE.
They bludge off our taxes & our pensioners & disadvantaged have to go without, while these scum take advantage of billions of dollars that they should not be entitled to. That Muslim maggot that plotted the terrorist attack on the power plant in Sydney was a boaty that sucked over a million dollars in welfare while plotting his attack. You bleeding hearts make me sick.

Absolute and utter rubbish!!! A legal migrant is not entitled to welfare for 2 years, an illegal(refugee) is entitled as soon as they are processed. That is why legal migrants tend to do well overall but 85% of illegals are still on welfare after 5 years.

Immigration is a controlled intake, with numbers set by the government.
Asylum seekers are asking for protection from oppression and anyone can claim asylum.
People that over stay visas are illegal immigrants and the biggest problem of the lot.
Certainly are, the boat people are a non issue just a beat up. Illegal immigrants on the other hand are a huge issue.
Actually i would suggest that the overstayers are of almost zero consequence to this country. They do not recieve any welfare and must work to provide for themselves. How is it that they are the biggest problem?
My brother inlaw was an illegal immigrant. Overstayed for about 5 years working the whole time for cash money.
Paid no taxes, took an Aussie job etc....

i never said overstayers had done no wrong. your bro-inlaw obviously worked in a low paid job and while he didn't pay taxes it was probably of benefit to the employer he was working for as they would have struggled to get the bums of this country to get out and work .. which in turn could be argued was actually a benefit to this country
