All you 1/2 boat pussy's go eat your whiskers laughing-fish.gif

Fart arse'n around with the little goat othe other day was looking @ a few mods & said bugger that rework can be more of a head ache that starting from stratch

Scratching is what 1/2 boat pussy's do when they've got flea's laughing-fish.gif

Anyways ordered alloy 2day, this time around i have the luxury of a mates workshop to build the goat in with no shortage of roles royce machinery @ my disposal.

One being a cnc plasma cutter which i intend taking full advantage of so started converting old plans i had to CAD today

Start of the project

Cant offer any more info only decided last saturday i was going to do it like i said remoding can be more time consuming than starting from scratch

Boat being replaced was a 5'6 meter initially designed just as a bay boat but hull which was my design turned out to be one hell of an off shore boat

Took big boat out yesterday & it made up my mind nothing about that boat i dont like so fiddled the drawings growing hull length out to 6 meters iwidening the beam to 2'4 & going to end up with a mini version of big green goat.

Good thing i dont have to make up a jig again had given it to a mate after last build he was wanting to build his own

Think what i'm going to enjoy this time is the workshop & working under cover

good one jg , keep practicing on the training boats and when i think you can handle a real boat , i will let you loose on the fibreglass.

Kep dreaming carpy

Amatuers can work on 1/2 goats all they need is a tube of black sika laughing-fish.gif laughing-fish.gif

Full boat building takes class they're not popped out of a mould with same repetitious design

That's the beaut thing about alloy not even i know how this one will end up

I make up the design as i go along after the skeleton has been erected

Cant do that with 1/2 boats
