I have no doubt JG is an accomplished metalworker who can build a plate boat easily. Whether he knows much about the design principles I don't know, but the execution does't require that. And he seems not short of a dollar, I'd rather have seen him not replicate the green-slime coloured machine though.

Very nice trailer but I think with that many welds cracking may be an issue in the long run because it's alloy.
That's why alloy trailer builders are bolting them together instead of welding these days.
