Regarding the Report A Post locked topic that has appeared in all the Fishnet Forum Scenes.
Is it time or could it be time for Fishnet to be closed to any new Memberships ? so to greatly lessen the chances of such offensive posts containing what is outlined in the Topic, which is .....
Offensive posts:
Contains foul language, obscene or pornographic.
Bigoted, hateful or racially offensive.
Defames, abuses or threatens others.
Advocates illegal activity or discusses illegal activities.
I have often thought as well, that all the info we as Members have submitted may or could be used by the general public in a negative way, towards all fishs.Or other info used inappropriately from all the different Scenes that Fishnet has on offer ... being very open to anyone.
I know of one other Victorian Fishing Website that is closed doors closed shop if you like.
Maybe Fishnet would not run as efficient if it was closed to new members
Or is it that the Mods are just getting older and can't stay up all night any more, watching over Fishnet _________________
Matt. Pretty simple really. Fishnet is asking if any member reads a post that they find offensive or breaking the forum rules to report the post, and bring it to the admins attention so that it can be dealt with quickly.
How things are at the moment is members are taking it upon themselves to be judge and jury and usually making things much worse.
Instead of crying about it on forums Fishnet are asking members to report it to the appropiate admin.
