| Just wandering if anyone has fished out of one of these boats or owns one. They are suposed to be a soft riding hull and can handle rough conditions ok.Also what is the stability like at rest.Mostly will be used in ppb and some offshore work. |

I fished off one a few times in Wallaroo.
Nice layout, high gunnels and solid. Handled 30knot southerly very well. It reminded me of a Haines 585 i have also fished off. The Haines rode A LOT better but was a little more tender at rest. If it were my money i would choose the haines anyday.
Sorry if that offends any Northbank owners but just my preference. |

| Thanks FoF for your honest answer.Yes the boat does look like the 585 just wandering if the Northbank was stable at anchor. |

Had a real good look at a 6m northbank a few weeks ago and to be honest wasn't real impressed. I now look for different things in boats than I did years ago, with the main issue being build quality/integrity. The finish was average on close inspection at best.
The northbank for me, is not in the same class as some if it's rivals, but nor is their price tag. |

| Yes Sully i agree the finish is not up to some other builders standards but i think the hull design is better than most.Basic boat like the Haines profish.Just add some bling and it is a different boat. |

| The Northbank 650 HT is a ripper of a boat. how can you not rate it up there they are quality boats. Now Haines making hard tops Northbank were making them years ago. |
