To all fishos who leave their empty plastic bags, drink bottles and other rubbish behind, clean up after yourselves, don't be such little piggies. It's an absolute disgrace!

If you've got the strength to carry salmon across dunes to the top car park then you've got strength to carry your own rubbish. I bet if anyone dropped litter in your driveway you would turn feral.

Now for the fishing update, some salmon between 1-2 kgs being caught there during the last few days around high tide, blue bait working the best.

Remember, clean up YOUR mess!! Good luck and drive safely.

There lies the reason for some peoples actions ... its a one foot in the grave thing, for all creatures great and small in all waters.

Fishing Reports

unhappy-fish.gif Strewn Rubbish would occur more often during the holidays down that way I'm thinking FisherwomanRye unhappy-fish.gif thank God.

Where I went today, four people actually put all their fishing and food rubbish...DAMN YOU MCDONALDS FOR HAVING DRIVE THROUGHS in a bag but then, left the full bag of rubbish on the beach confused-fish.gif confused-fish.gif confused-fish.gif Who's to come and pick it up ........ Nobody I know for sure that a strong wind will pick it up and all will end up on the bottom of PPB angry-fish.gif angry-fish.gif Farrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrk ! angry-fish.gif

I often try to understand people's reasons that lead them to do such.

Do they become that! dissapointed after not catching anything, that a sence of I DON'T CARE ANYMORE comes over them. They will only now, carry out what they really! own .... people don't like to own rubbish the rubbish has done its job carrying in what they did own previously, payed for

Some people will know that their Council does come and pick up rubbish in an area but this too, sadly, has all forms of rubbish being dropped by the Bastards In The Dark, bastards angry-fish.gif angry-fish.gif

As its the holiday time now, a fair percentage of people that leave rubbish behind would be those that don't fish often. This leads me to believe that its Tackle Shop Reports that are part to blame, for all the rubbish that is left behind by the percentage of people fishing, during the holiday period.

Any one can write a report with shiny photos that could have been shot years ago, really! Theres also a vast amount of electronic means of seeing fishing reports.

Its during the Snapper Season where the $ is made the most for Fishing Tackle Shops etc etc, the Industry in Vic.So when there are holidays during winter the Industry comes alive for another $ maker and reports fish caught, here and there.People that don't fish often don't acquire fishing knowledge therefore they get sucked in, to the fishing reports that they read or here from all the means.

Its a very unhappy-fish.gif end, result that rubbish lays where it should not be at all including being eaten by fishs or strangled to death even. Then theres all the other animals that live in or out of the waters that can, or do suffer to death because of people leaving rubbish behind..

I don't see any writing on fishing bags etc etc saying what to do with the bag or what ever what ever, such could possibly make some people or even those with a heart for their country, to carry their rubbish with them or place it in a bin nearby.

happy-fish.gif Ban all Fishing Industry Fishing Reports during the holidays please happy-fish.gif

Yeah, No one gives a "hoot" about what's left behind, sick of picking up fishing line, plastic bags etc.

Today, with Northerly winds, there were quite a lot of salmon being hauled in, very sunny this arvo, ended up with just a T shirt, felt like Summer for a while.

Fog started to roll in about 3.30 and more salmon being caugh towards high tide, car park still half full at 5.30, plenty of fisher people, surfers and visitors.

Great way to spend a Monday, great start to week.
