Got $135K? Then this would be a nice little craft for a spot of fishing,...........
Very nice boat. If he is upgrading, I wonder what he's upgrading into?
Spiro, do you know this boat? I'm guessing it was popped out of Mr Strahans moulds. I've had the pleasure of fishing out of one that belongs to a mate with a pair of Yamaha HPDI 250hp donks and it's an awesome (but very thirsty) rig. With a full fuel load (800 litres) it just smashes its way through just about any sea without smashing its occupants. This one with the 300 Suzuki's would be easier on the wallet at the bowser I'd expect. _________________ Cheers,

so then. does the fact that there is around 1.5m from where you would fish to the back of the motors still make it a good fishing boat? being able to 'smash" anything is not a good term to use when describing anything other than the QLD Origin team.

Lots of new boats are going this way. I don't understand why as it is a problem for fishing.
This was one of the reasons we went with the 650F which has an engine well.

So true, the people who build these probably don't understand either, more a "fashion" thing than anything practical. There's a lot of boats built today without any practical considerations. _________________ ** Tomorrow is another day .... oh joy .... what great responses will that bring **

Kerry, FYI.
Where-approx 3 kms offshore heading west back to Port Albert between McLoughlins and Manns entrance. Here is an image depicting the area-
Conditions- SW 15 gusting 25 knots, 2-2.5 metre pressure waves on an outgoing tide and it was time to go home.
Standing up and able to travel at 18-22 knots straight into the sea without getting smashed. Admittedly holding on to grab rails but comfortable enough. Trimmed up a bit and 3500rpm, no worries.
Kerry, you can believe or disbelieve as much as you want but we were there and that was how it was. These boats perform that well, period.
If you really want to see that, go for a run in one of these (or buy the aforementioned vessel) before judging what these craft are capable of. _________________ Cheers,
