I have just seen this boat at the boat show and its easily the most impressinve rig under 6 metres in a cuddy configaration I could see there, IMO of course. The boat had a huge fishing area at the rear and a very nice dash with plenty of room for a 10-12" sounder and gps. Plus the build and finish of the boat looked fantastic. Just wanted to know how these ride?and stability at anchor? I know its always a trade off, but just wanted to know how this rig fares?

Also it was $63,990 BMT with a 150 Yammy four banger and mackay trailer, needed to add hydrallic steering and rocket launcher, set of clears, big sounder of course, but to me this seemed well priced, am I right?

Thanks.

64 grand for what amounts to an 18' boat sounds like a normal everyday price to me, nothing special about it.

Wouldnt call it an 18 footer....
If you can find an 18 footer with the same cockpit space that handles as well as this boat you are doing well. The 560 Classic is a big boat in the flesh. If you are looking at a boat this size you will be hard pressed to find anything that rides as well.

I too love the 560C... wink-fish.gif
Especially with the new side pockets and its new layout! My father wants one and hopefully not too far in the future! It is so true that it sounds small on paper but in the flesh it has so much space for a boat in that size...

It's certainly very roomy for a 5.6m boat, no doubt about that.

They are a big boat inside, they shaved the gunnels which opens it right up, I saw one when I was down there getting fitted out and thought they had got the decals mixed up, surely thought it was a larger boat.

Kingy1978 you just have to go for a ride on one. Give me a call and i can make that happen. This hull is the 585R just 250mm shorter (say no more). BTW the launchers were in that price of $63,990, as well as the two tone hull, bimini top, 27 meg, lowrance sounder gps, F/G bait board. Cheers Phil.

Thanks Phil, for me it was definetly the stand out boat of the show. Looking at the 5.5-5.8mtr range bang for buck, fishing layout, freeboard, value for money, build quality nothing came close. I'd expect it to ride like a dream being a Haines and for my needs PPB, Eden and Portland the ideal rig. Maybe check that price tag thingo - I'm sure it didnt say that you got all that other stuff too? I've been checking out some reviews too, has haines changd the internal transom setup? It looked to have a silly curtain thing before now they have the nice lockers for batteries and the side pockets definetly look better. Is cork flooring an option? Thanks.

The internals have changed with full side and rear liner looks the goods. Price is with all those extra's and has gone well for us at the show. Cheers Phil.
