Very ordinary.
I went to look at a haines 600 or 650 enclosed and the only haines boats were the big 760r and a prowler which was a very poor showing i think.
Cruisecraft and evolution had plenty to look at though.

Liked the look of some of the large trawer like big-boats and think the rear bulkhead design on the Rivs looks pretty swish (not a dedicated gameboat though). The rest of the mariner was a bit boring.

Inside, crestcutters look to be good value, some decent tinnies here and there, cruisecraft display was good as said above (always is), haines hunters were a non event, signatures are stuck in the early 90s, and, some of the displays were pretty garbage.

6/10.

I hear you guys!

I think it comes down to thefact that particularly inside, the Trailerable Game Fishing Boat is no longer a feature. They musnt sell too well or appeal to many people. They figuire that they are best bringing the cheaper popular models and let the would be buyers work up from that....

Where was the Evo enclosed? Haines Enclosed? Trailcraft Tinnies? Not a YANK BOAT in sight...

I love the boat show all the same. I think it is just a reflection on what the people want at the time.

I think that the bigger trailerboats are no longer affordable if you're middle class. Since when in 6m of boat over 100K?

Firstly, went after 5pm so entry was only $5.

I went with one thing in mind, see different sounders and chart plotters on display and talk to different reps about there product.

Bought a chart plotter. Was worth going for me.

If I was going to check out fishing rigs or fishing products then I would have been disappointed.

Will I go next year..... NO. But will continue to go the rose hill trailer boat show.

Went on Thursday night and it was empty. Talking to one of the dealership reps, it has been the best start to a show they've had in terms of sales, allegedly taking 7 deposits for boats, price ange between $35 to $60k. Guess with low interests rates people are purchasing boats in that range .

Never went to the marina......maybe if I win lotto.

What was on display inside was beautiful, but not what I'm interested in.

I thought it was very average.
No express game style boats at all!
No US dedicated fishing boats, closest thing to them was Whaler and not to many promo chicks!

Right, so you guys spend all year discussing grey imports and how to get them and then wonder why the Boat show isn't that great.

Not really that hard to work it out, is it.
