Didn't hook a duck on your back cast? laughing-fish.gif
snake guides squeaking.....you got me, usually there is a rubbing noise when the line goes through the guides. If your line is not shooting try conditioning the fly line with cleaner or a tiny bit of hair conditioner. And polish the guides too.
This should help

Used Armourall for a long time without any problems but heard a lot of stories re line coatings dissolving on some brands. For the last few years have only used Scientific Angler Flyline dressing which comes in a pack with a cleaning pad and does a FANTASTIC job. I would not use anything else nowadays. Initial cost is fairly high but you only use a tiny amount so it will last for years.
