It is not hard to see all the advantages but Some of the draw backs are if you have young children future after school years education , employment and entertainment for them. Country towns have certainly not escaped the drug problems. As mentioned above some of these country places can be very clicky (not all) which can even impact on employment prospects. Less access to essential services. If it does not work out it can be hard to buy back into the big smoke.
