hi i am thinking of heading down to the hump off stany at the end of the week and was wondering if anybody had any reports of snapper being caught there, not really keen for the trip down if there is nothing there. Any help or reports would be great.
Thanks Mr_stephen

Stephan. I was down there a couple of weeks ago only got 2 just legal Snapper, some good goatfish though and a couple of nice Flats when we drifted off our mark.
Better off launching from Belambie and heading up to Austinmere,
Straight off austinmere beach and in 36 metres of water we picked up a couple of Snapper around the 3 1/2- 4 kg mark, probably just fluked it but have caught good fish there before.
Can't give you the mark as I don't have the gps here at the moment.
The Snapper will be moving on shortly till the cuttlefish start breeding and then they will come back full on.

Stephen. I posted this in the fish oz scene before I seen it here also.
Best just to post in one place mate.

Winga. The hump is a popular mark on the south coast for catching reef species. between belambie and cronulla.
