Saturday - Fly tying
When it comes to learning the basics, or mastering advanced techniques, David Dodd and Trevor Lumb offer the finest fly tying guidance around. Tie up some new patterns by the fireside, then walk out the door to the lake and give them a try.Sunday - Casting
Having trouble casting into wind? Too many windknots? Cant get any distance? Too slow getting the fly to the fish? Iron out these and other annoying casting problems with the help of the Millbrook guiding team. Expect plenty of one-on-one tuition, plus personalised analysis using our digital video casting program. Then put your new casting skills to work on the big browns and rainbows of our private lakes.All Weekend - General guiding and advice
Whether its over a cuppa in the cabin, or out on the water, make the most of the expert advice available from Mark and Philip Weigall. Mark and Philip will be roving instructors throughout the weekend. Theyll be there for a chat about tactics for your favourite spots during the coming season or to offer suggestions to help undo a big Millbrook trout.One course or two? Its up to you
The fly tying day runs Friday evening until Saturday evening. The casting is from Saturday evening until Sunday evening. You can choose to stay for just one of the courses or for both.2004 Courses: June 4th to 6th, July 2nd to 7th
& July 31st to August 2nd.
Cost: $250 for one course, or $435 for both
Price includes accommodation, meals and equipment if necessary.
